I have some under hood grease that i need to get rid of. What's the best product out there to use?

Engine degreaser and a couple tooth brushes or kitchen brushes.
Or if you want to take it a little easier, Simple Green cleaner at about a 50% solution works pretty well, if not a little slower.

If i'm not worrying about drying out plastics or rubber or peeling paint, I find that brake cleaner will take care of grease in a hurry

Simple green is the way to go.
I used only Simple Green on my engine compartment at 100% strength. You can view photos on my member page. Only exception was where I needed to remove errant rustproofing/undercoating. For that, I used mineral spirits. But for general grunge, Simple Green, an assortment of brushes, and a garden hose works for me...

Have had really good luck using Go-Jo hand soap. Or any other similar type hand soap that breaks down and cleans the grease on your hands. The waterless type hand soaps.
Only takes a lil bit though. You don't have to scrub just gently rub and keep using a fresh area of the rag as you remove the grease.
