Well, I had the day off work due to the heat so I figured it was as good a day as any to throw on the new intake. It all went pretty smooth until I tried to start the car, it backfired and sputtered a little. I scratched my head for a sec and then I thought hmmm, the plug wires arent in their looms, I wonder if the last guy f&*$ed it up. Sure enough he had 4 on there right and 4 on there wrong, after a quick re-route she purrs like a kitten (uh, bird iguess it would be). Just thought I'd update.
BTW: If anyone knows where I can pick up a stock 96/97 SPORT spoiler for a reasonable price please let me know. Also I am looking for some 245/50/16's in decent shape, also for a reasonable price.

So now you got your chest all stuck out struttin' 'round the garage like Foghorn Leghorn, eh? We've all done it! Ah, the feeling when a plan comes together.... :D
Sometimes 50% right is good. Not with plug wires.
Good call on the wires. Were they the original fault or was the intake change needed anyway?
Dya call Brian on the spoiler?
We just ordered Qty 4 Falken 235/55/16 for my kid's '90 XR7 - $540.00 on the car, balanced with new valves.

The intake was the original problem, leaking coolant everywhere... But when I was finished it was running rough, I thought due to coolant pooling in the plug holes or possibly coolant leaking into the intake tract. It turns out the guy knew nothing about firing orders. Oh well his loss my gain. I was hoping to find some good used tires due to financial constraints.....
The car runs better than I could have imagined, smooth like silk. I must admit I was a little concerned, I bought the car without ever seeing it and not knowing the guy I bought it from, it was a gamble, it seems to have payed off. As far as I can see the only thing it needs is a tensioner pulley, it's a little squeaky.
I'll try Brian on the spoiler, thx

GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEz I'm a bit upset that I did not get the car Trevor but cudos on getting it running ok again. The jeolousy will pass soon.
Are you still going to put the Zenon kit on like you were planning a few weeks ago? There is a bird her in town with it and a woman wons the car named Sherry. She is quite the car buff too! He car needs a bit of tlc to make it perfect but the ground effects really set the car off well. Should be cool on your bird too ???
ttyl my friend...

The GFX will come when money permits, which unfortunately doesn't look like any time soon. But, eventually I plan to add them, along with the Xenon spoiler and some large diameter wheels.
Yah, sorry about the flip/flop with the car, some stuff came up and killed me as far as spending money goes. Anyway if things change with the car I will post in on the forums before anywhere else.

Thanks Samir, the car is in fenominal shape for the kms and 10yrs+. From the look of it there isn't even oil spray anywhere... the floors, rockers, and even that spot behind the rear wheel, you know the one that always wrotten, it's solid like a rock. I'm not sure if they used different metal or if the guy just washed it religiously... In any event it's all good.
