Hey Guys, I'm trying to see if there's any interest in people coming up to my place for a BBQ on Sat. Aug 19. Bear in mind Barrie is 45 mins (or less ;) ) from TO. Please post if you're interested or if the date is no good for you. I'd like to see some SNOW in Barrie as in SNOW Injection...hint hint Steve P.

We threw my MP2 on Ian's car over the weekend too and if he doesn't end up coming I'll steal his car. (heck if he does decide to go I'll probably steal his car!)

Greg, I can't speak for people as to when they are planning on leaving but I'm sure some may stick around till later. I figure people should start showing up around 2-3:00 pm. Is that good for most people?

Andrew I developed a new air intake through one of my pistons which didn't give me the performance the way I wanted it to.;) (My car dropped a valve and smashed a piston) It's down for the count for now but it will be back better then ever...........next year. If I was smart I would count my losses now but sometimes guys do stupid things....:D

Count me in guys. Where do you want to meet? How about Masonville in the north end and we can go as the crow flies? I Know the back way as I used to have customers there for business and travelled there almost weekly. I hate the traffic on the big lanes...What are your thoughts...

Not to be an ~~~, but the "back way" doesn't include any dirt roads does it? My SC doesn't do dirt roads. I'll know for sure closer to the date if I can make it or not, and I'll let you know.

there is 2 different backs ways that don't involve the 400 but if memory serves me correctly neither one are dirt roads.

The roads are all good but ot the 400 series. I just got back from Elliot Lake today and went through Barrie and it was a complete zoo southbound on the 400. I had to drop a guy off in Toronto so I had no choice.

How about you? Do you want to go up together? I know the backway as I have gone up there several times for business trips. We can avoid the cottage traffic that way on the 400 series.
