I'm looking for a wiper cowl for a 91sc and can anyone tell me approx. where the boost pressure guage should run at when the car is at idle. totally stock engine with AOD Tranny.

Boost pressure should be at 20 vacum @ idle.

As for the cowl, check the local scrap yards..i saw a 92 SC at Standard Auto Wreakers in Scarborough...and I think it had it on...keep in mind, 92 and lower cars tend to break and wear really fast, the 93s tend to be a bit more durable..just my 2 cents..but i dont think they will fit properly on a 92 and lower SC..as Ford changed the design a bit..

Steady 20 inches of vacuum at idle, warm engine, car in neutral.
This will drop to about 18 inches when in gear or when the AC is turned on.
Most important is a strong, steady needle.

A bone stock SC will show 8-10 on the gauge under WOT.

when did you see the sc at Standard Auto Wreakers

The SC was there last weekend,Picked clean.Im going back this morning to see whats left.I will scope things out and post what i find for those interested.

If anyone is interested there is an SC at a local wreckers here in Barrie. I'm not sure of the year (89-93), the car is blue with blue leather interior, front seats are toast, complete rear end is gone, other than that the car is complete. It's called Tracey's Auto wreckers, I can provide more info if anyone is interested.
