Hey Guys, here are the directions to get to my place.
Address is:
81 Knupp Rd.
705-737-5949
From the South take Hwy 400 to Dunlop St. West (note: Dunlop is the 3rd exit after Molson Park Dr. and Essa Rd. Also note Dunlop has 2 exits, the first is Dunlop East and the 2nd one is Dunlop West)
Proceed West to Miller St. (after Ferndale, you might think you're leaving civilization not to worry Miller is the next light after Ferndale)
Make a right onto Miller.
First street Sproule, make right.
2nd street Knupp make a left and I'm on the right just before the road curves to the left.
From the North same deal except there's only 1 exit for Dunlop, head West towards Angus.
One last note how do you guys want to do this BBQ? Does everybody want to bring something or should I just get everything and split the cost? Cindy said she'd make a macaroni and cesar salad.

Well if people would be more active in club events they would realize this was the set up last year. Instead of critical comments get involved. I don't see too many people hosting the club at their homes, Greg is one that does.
Sorry if people were misled, I'm fully capable of accommodating everybody who've responded positively to coming up. I'm trying to get a jerk chicken recipe that will knock your socks off. Case closed...get your a s s 's up here.

Both Kendra and I are planning on making this event. We are holidays after this week, and are looking forward to starting them with a nice trip to Barrie with good times and friends.
Let me know Mr.Wang if we can help out with some sort of food dish.

You obviously haven't seen me pack it away! ...So, when is the club BBQ at your place then, big talker?! ;)
Andrew, I'm sure those who can make it would be glad to pitch in and do the pot-luck thing if you're gracious enough to offer your place to host such an event.
Regards,
Sean

I know the feeling! I just got back Tuesday from Cape Code MA. just over 2200 km there and back! When Stephanie asks to see whales.....Marine Land just wouldn't cut it for me! I took her and the rest of my family on a whale watching cruise in the Atlantic ocean! Amazing experience to say the very least!
Anyway, back on topic, the Bird is all nice and shiny, and ready to go. First 3 hour trip in over three years! Hope the rain holds off. Andrew, is there anything you would like me to bring?

Just got home after a four hour drive. It was well worth it and thanks to Andrew for hosting a fantastic gathering.
Good friends, good food, good times...good weather, as when Dean and I left London it was pouring rain. We had sun and pleasant temps in Barrie.
Lots of information swapping as well so it was a learning experience too!
GREAT PARTY!
I can hardly wait for the next one....

LOL! You guys needed some spice in your life every once in a while.:D .
I have to say thanks to all who came and contributed to a great time, a lot of laughs and even some wrenching (my car :p ). You guys definitely made the day for us. Special thanks should go out to Dean, Tom and Bruce who really came a long way for this event, that's the spirit guys.
On a side note, don't I have nice neighbors...how about that guy Terry bringing his compressor over at 9:00pm just so we could get that blower pulley off.
Hopefully we can have some more events like this next year and as long as people are willing to come up you guys are more than welcome at my home anytime.

Finally got to a net connection.
I'd like to thank Cindy and Andrew for hosting a fabulous day. A truly relaxing day with scads of groceries and gear yakking. I finally had a chance to put faces to the forum names.... though some of those faces weren't worth 302 Kilometres one way. The London group to be commended on their 600 km return trip. We build 'em to drive 'em so any opportunity to justify a road trip is a pleasure.
There's some wealth of knowledge within the SCCoO. It's too bad we can't get together more often and turn some wrenches. We could probably even do it better during daylight, though sawbuck feeler gauges and a Mustang owner's tools did make it a challenge. (BTW - I noticed my 10% pulley has a wrench fitting cut into the pulley housing - simple to break the pulley nut).
Like Al mentioned as we both watched the last 5 cars pull up to Andrew's, "Every SC looks great." He also said, "Don't eat the chicken till it's cooked".
Someone give Andrew a sandwich, would ya?
Has Kendra had laser eye surgery since she met that guy she was with?
Was that Fong's brother operating the BBQ?
And where's all those kid's come from?
Again, thanks to our hosts. Outstanding.

Next time, we'll go to a spot where I can show you what real audio sounds like. Didn't want to bust out Andrew's neighbour's front window, frightening Al, Tom and the local children.
So to recap - in the dinner circle from my left.....
Ryan, Kendra, Tom, Dean, Cindy, The Cook, Andrew, Al, Jason...??? And Andrew came late and Greg and his wife even later? Correct?
