What type gas is being sold along I 70 coming from IL.
going to xeina Ohio to the 06 shootout.

What octain and does it contain ethanol.

Thanks Randy

I live in Plainfield which is right on I-70 (15 minutes west of Indianapolis). There is a BP and Shell that contains 93 Octane.

About 2 miles down the road there is a Sunoco that has 93, 94, and 110 octane fuel.

I guess I just live in a good location?:)

I just looked at the Sunoco site and I was not able to find out if there is a Station near Xenia that has the 110. I checked the Speedway site and they only have 100 Cam2 BUT the closet one to Xenia is in Columbus. I am kinda lucky here in Eastlake becuase there are 2 stations that have it within a 10 mile radius.

There are two or three places in Columbus that sell race gas. Most other places all sell 93 with the exception of a few places selling 94 or 92.

I am just checking to see if there was gas station with good enough
gas to drive to and back from OHIO.To go to the shootout. I don't
run race gas.

At last years shootout. there was no gas good enough to run
in my stock motor. And I still need to swap in head gaskets.
Because of the kerosene they call gas in Oklahoma.

Randy

I believe that all gas has an ethonal blend allready mixed into it. Governmnet mandated, so you wont be able to avoid that.

Thanks evey one for your help. Sounds like the gas will be ok for
a trip to the 06 shootout from my direction.

Now I have to find another excuss other than gas ,Why I an not
going to the shootout.

Would this be an exceptable & understandable excuss.
CMac89 is to fast so I to shreeerrd to show. :)

Thanks Randy

If you show I will get you drunk!! Is that a good enough reason to show?

Tim I don't drink any more.

Or any less :p

Tim I am sure that I will not be there with out a tune.
And I can't get it tuned, until I fix the head gasket.
But there is no since in fixing the head gasket, because
I can't get it tune. So I have given up because of I can't
or get someone to tune the scbird .

I have blown my head gaskets twice.
Driving a distance tring to get a tune.
So you think that I should go for number
three head gasket. trying to get a tune.

All I end up with in the end. Is blown head gaskets
and still need a tune.

Thats some bad luck there Randy. I think your next project should be to build a dyno into the floor of your shop so you can just dyno your own car at your place and if the head gaskets do pop your not far from your tools either lol!
