I have a 97 tbird LX (4,6L) with high milage I was gonna use for a project (planned on swapping in a carbed 302 or something and gut it out) but as luck would have it... thats no longer a possibility. Due to NY recently doing emissions diagnostics for cars 96 and newer, I need to find something older.
Car was hit in the rear passengers side wheel well a few years back... did no structural damage... just cosmetic (someone backed into it out of their driveway while my father was driving it). Fixed it as best I could with the limited resources I had (pounded it out so it's not AS BAD).
Car needs to be cleaned up, needs a tune up (plugs/wires/ect) and a ball joint. As for options, it has a moon roof, grey cloth interior, black exterior, chrome fan wheels, CD player (pioneer I think) and a trailer hitch +the ball.
all in all it's not a bad car... just needs a little love. has a little rust, but it's far far far from rotting. would make a good daily driver or a project street/strip car. I really hate to get rid of it, as this was my second tbird I purchased. I owned it for a few years and sold it to my father @ 80K miles... he drove it ever since. He just picked up a new car and I bought it back in hopes of using it as a project, but like I said... that gonna fly in NY anymore.
willing to trade the car plus $$$ for an SC in decent shape. located in Buffalo NY
