How about the Mark VIII spindles, hubs and brakes? Are they a direct bolt on?
Do you know what the weight is on the SC LCA's & also the weight on the mark8's with the perches? If you swap the Mark8 IRS in an MN12 couldnt you use the mark8 springs so you dont need the perches??? I heard the spring perches were kinnda heavy.racecougar said:When I first installed the Mark 8 rear LCA's about four years ago, I noticed a couple things. Without the perches, the rear end will sit about 1/2" lower. Also, without the perches, the springs may not have room to pop out of the cups in the LCA's, but they definitely have room to move around in the cups.
I went with the perches to keep the springs in place and maintain the ride height I was after.
