need some help

You can't.

The engine computer maintains the idle using an idle air control. If the engine is idling too slow it could be that the IAC is dirty and needs cleaning, or that it is failing. See if you have any engine codes to pull.

If it's idling too fast, you could have a vacum leak or some buildup in the throttle body not letting the throttle plate close properly.

Do you know where your IAC is? To clean it, use a cleaner from any parts store to get all of the buildup out of it. Sometimes this does not work and you have to replace it. USE THE FORD OEM ONE!!! I will strongly advice that you pony up for the OEM one cause the aftermarket ones suck. I had 3 aftermarket ones on my car and one would leak, one stuck shut and one just didn't do anything. I got the OEM one from a dealership and no more problems. The IAC sits on/by the TB and is pretty easy to get off as long as the wiring harness doesn't run along side of it like mine did:mad: I will see if I can dig up a pic of the IAC that someone sent me.
