I installed an Autometer electric oil pressure sender on my 93 and since I'm already teeing into to that same area to supply oil to the turbo, there wasn't room to keep the stock oil pressure sender. As expected I now get the bright red check gauge light on the dash.

I'm wondering if I could attach the wire for the stock gauge as well as the new gauge to the aftermarket sender just to make the light go out....or am I better off pulling the insturment cluster and removing the bulb ?

Just ground the wire for the stock sending unit and the check guage light will go out.

Wow!! Finally something easy to fix on this car...that's great.

Actually, the easiest and quickest fix I ever had on an SC was changing out an AC pressure switch, but we have to take what we can get!
