i was trying to locate the source of an engine stumble in my 94sc and in my search i discovered that the motor mounts looked bad.a closer inspection confirmed that they were collapsed,i say this because the metal tab on the mount is resting on the other half of the mount. after seeing this on the project 89sc i have i know what look for.researching this problem on this site revealed that this can cause many problems with idle,stumbling and the extra vibration can trick the knock sensor into pulling timing.funny thing is that when you hit wot it don't run too bad. well i know what i've got to do, at least i've done it once already...lol
