Well car was running pretty good, temp was steady at 210 degrees but that was cool. The EGT gauge was working pretty good for a while then it died again. Numbers ranged from 600 degrees at idle and then climbed to around 800 degrees during throttle but when i hit the brakes the needle would again shutter badly then after maybe 15min of runing time the needle went to zero again, its weird, I still think I am soaking the sensor with gas, you can literally smell the gas but there are no leaks.
Anyways, on my way home form the mall, I live aboiut 5 mins from, I give it some gas and it takes off nicely but then it loses a lot of power, does not want to accelerate to well. Temp gauge starts to rise slightly, I am only a few blocks from home so it couldn't go too high but it went up to about 220 or 230 degrees. The I see a nice wet line on the road behind the car as I drive, I know I am leaking now, figured coolantm as I pull in the driveway the front end of the car is smokin bad, coming out from under the hood, I knew it was coolant for sure since the raod had a nice trail of coolant up to my driveway!
I figured or hoped I blew a rad house, nope, the hoses were fine, one whole side of the car was SOAKED in coolant, and I mean soaked! I thought the worse, my heads warped or something and coolant was spraying out between the head and block (not even sure if this is possible), but after closer examination I see the problem, the coolant hose that runs from the heater core to the lower intake came off at the lower intake. WHEW, I must not have tightened it enough, I thought I did though but guess not. Unless the clamp loosened itself. Anyways I put the hose back on, its too dark out now but in the morning I will fill it back up with coolant and test it out. I guess when I gave the car gas hard it popped the hose off due to the increase in pressure. Man I was so worried I blew the gaskets again!
