Quick couple of questions

I found a set of 3.27 gears for 50 bucks with 15,000 miles on them. is it worth it or should i spend the 190 or so from SCP? The gears look great no visible wear. The guy who had them upgraded to 4.10's in his mustang. Also are the underdrive pullies the same on a 94-98 mustang as they are on the 89-93 birds? the mustang pullies seem to be quite a bit cheaper. thanks

Honestly..............I'd go for the new gears. You can avoid any potential trouble, and have a recourse if there is a problem.

Mustang pulley's are different. The alternator and the water pump may work but the crank pulley on the sc has two belts running off it where the mustang only has one belt.

Go to jeg's and get some FRPP 3.73's for like $150 :)
