installing a VMM ??

hey guys, just for sh*ts and giggles....how hard would it be to install a VMM into an SC that doesnt have one ? not that im gonna do it, i've just been curious.

too hard. i actually think the entire electrical harness and computer would need replacing.

im mad that they didnt put them in all the SC's. they look really cool. technology ahead of its time...

You could easily wire it up to power to make it light up for the cool bling factor and probably trick the sensor inputs to show good, but the sensors and wiring to them would be nasty. It gets tach signal, oil level signal with pan that has hole for the sensor... all kind of silly wiring. Actually without a cam sensor signal, my oil change section turns off after a few minutes of running.
