Anyone know what year or any other vehicles our pump fits. I am trying to change out the resovoir. I have the nasty yellow and would like to find a black one.

As far as I know, pretty much all of Fords PS resoviors were that nasty yellow color. I bought a reman less than a year ago, and it came with a painted black resovior....

I've always wondered about this...the only draw back is that if you get a pump to work, you would end up using the same nasty yellow top/dipstick thing....b/c as far as I know adn have seen, its SC specific. However, I do remember somebody used a 'regular' lid but its kind hard getting to it with our PS pump set up.

I dont think its the resovoir thats painted black. I have seen the black resovoirs with yellow lettering on the cap, thats not paint.

I was just wondering what years. Guess its u-pull-it time.

The resevior is just the natural color of the plastic used in forming it. When they rebuild them they dye them or paint them black because they often are filthy and impossible to clean.
