My SC drives fine when its cold, but as soon as I've been driving a good 15-20 mins, it is extremely rough when I start driving from a stop. The rear end hops really bad, its as if I was driving over a "washboard" gravel road.
It only does this from a stop, or very slow moving (forward and reverse), and only after driving for a few.
Everything was fine until I had a set of 3.27s (5 spd) installed, and the pumpkin rebuilt with new bearings, seals and clutches. Since then, which was over a year ago now, I've been having these problems.
The only thing I can think of that would cause this sort of behaviour is the gear oil/friction modifier breaking down once it gets warm, causing the clutches to slip. The bushings seem to be in order.
Any thoughts?
