Found a steal on a Thunderbird SC. But I dont know what exactly is broken on it by his description. Heres what he wrote:

"1991 FORD THUNDERBIRD, 12K mi, Super Coupe 12000 on rebuilt eng and trans. Bolt broke inside crank pully, have parts, does run, sunroof, best offer.

Is this an easy fix? Or should I run from it?

if you know how to use a tap or know someone that knows how to then get it if its chea;) p

sounds like the balancer bolt. do a search it is a common problem and there are solutions to remove it without messing up the crank

Ok, thanks guys. Hopefully he didnt already mess up the crank on it...its only $500, so I may just risk it and take the car. If nothing else I can make more money off it in parts alone then I paid for it.

Depending on how bad it is broken and how far it is from you I would plan on towing it home and fixing it. As mentioned it's a pretty common failure and relatively easy to fix. I would plan on dropping the money on it to get a BHJ dampener rather than replacing with another stock dampener.
