Nice and straight, not perfect, but ther belt will not interfer. I've also polished it down to the bare steel, so you can paint, black, red, or whatever you would like. It's going to look nice!

Ryan,
Cool, how does red sound? :p
So what will I need to put it on? (ie. what sized puller) Is it possible to change it without taking the thermostat housing off? If not, I should pick up a new thermostat gasket.
When were you guys planning to do Les's fuel pump? Maybe we can make it a joint effort type day.
Jim.

Grab a new gasket, just in case. I'm sure that I can get that pulley off without removing the t-stat, but I said that to Les also. It's going to work one time.
Rent the 3 jaw puller from CTC the big one 7" I think. Does your snout seal need to be repalced?
Sure come over when thet're all doing the fuel pump. Jackie won't be here though!

Ryan,
What?! No Jackie! We'll just have to reschedule! ;)
When were you guys planning on doing Les's Fuel pump?
I was thinking about the Snout seal. It isn't leaking, so I think I'll just leave it alone.
Since you've been playing with several different thermostat housing gaskets lately, which brand do you prefer?
Jim.

Ryan,
From the other message strings it looks like this weekend's work on the cars may get postponed. Right?
That's cool...besides I haven't had a chance to bug Ed to get a Thermostat housing gasket. Not that the discount will be much...but I am cheap! ;)
Do you know the FORD part number for the gasket?
Jim.

Jim, the Ford (Motorcraft ) # for an SC stat gasket is RG-564.
It is specific to the 3.8 SC. I'm away from work for the rest week, and you would only save about $1.00 getting one from me compared to full price from another dealer anyway, so knock yourself out.

Thanks Ed!
I think I'll just grab it from a local delearship when the time comes. Is it a regular stock item?
Jim.
PS. Ever notice how quiet it gets without Sean or Bill around!? :p

That's hard to say, depends on how many SC owning customers they have. I would think that most of the bigger dealers in the GTA would have at least one on the shelf anyway.

Gee, that was only the beer store. Maybe next time we should go to the liqour store - LOL!!!
So, with any luck the (crank) pulley is coming out this weekend - I FINALLY got the right bolt, now I can install it properly. Ryan, if it's possible can you bring my acetone at the next club meet, please and thanx?! Now for the u-joints!

Jim,
As you probably have read on the other thread, I won't be able to join you guys at St. Thomas tomorrow. I wish you the best of luck though. I'm sure you'd love to have the $500 USD gift certificate, eh buddy?!
Ryan,
I just got your message now. I'm thinking that it's a little late to phone you. If it's urgent, please give me a shout at my place tomorrow morning by 9:00 AM. Otherwise, if you've got my cell number, I'll try to keep it on all day tomorrow. I'm just not sure what kind of reception I can expect up in the Lindsay area. Is everything OK, man?
Cheers,
Sean
