View Full Version : SC mustang swap

Hi guys, i just joined and i have a few questions. My friend and i were talking about trying to swap the sc from the tbird onto his 97' v6 stang. Is this even possible? What all does it entail, swapping heads, front cover, making a mount for the IC. Can the stock mustang intake be used, things like that? Or is it even more so. Thanks for any help.

97 shouldn't be split port.
It will involve:
converting to the 3-pulley system
pulling ALL of the SC running gear (S/C, I/C, piping, manifolds, t/b, the JS stuff and a bunch of other gizmos)

In terms of installation though, it is pretty fricken easy.

Working on it after the swap won't be, but it's not as hard as changing motors etc.
