ive been bad and let my bird sit for about 6 months while i was rebuilding the suspension. anyway i finally got the car out on the road for the first time yesterday. everytime i took off from a stop. the accleator seemed to stick for a moment or 3 then settled back down. im sure its due to a build up of gunk over at the TB but i dont know what to spray on it to loosen it up.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

check your fuel lines next to the TB mine would stick for a few seconds & I kicked it loose , only did it under full throttle in 1st & it was very exciting
so when I tried it at home engine off it didnt do it so I guess it was the twist of the engine under a load that moved it (the lines) into a bind with the throttle body, pushed the lines out of the way & that fixed it.

after some thinking I had done some work in that area & moved the lines
causing the bind:rolleyes: I 1st thought it was my floormat ... it wasnt.

let us know.
