Rebuild or Replace.....Opinions???

So i had the connecting rod bearings go in my SC, What do you all think, should i replace it with this 500 dollar motor i found, which i know nothing about, or rebuild it, and does anyone know what the cost is of rebuilding it approximately???

if the crankshaft is galled from the rod bearing failure, then you will need another crank, a mystery motor for $500?
I wouldn't.
Look around there are alot of these cars with blown HG's you could get a motor with a low mile bottom for around that price.

The guy at the machine shop I use quoted me $160 for a ring/bearing set, $40 for lower gaskets, and I know uppers are around $120. Machine work would cost you some dough too. I think he told me $1000 for a shortblock rebuild.
