Bypass Actuator

This may be a dumb question but,,,
In stock form, the air bypass actuator uses a thin vacum line with the rubber boots on each end. Would using a regular size vacum hose (the size that would fit nicely on the actuator valve nipple and the inlet plenum nipple) cause the vacum pressure on the actuator valve to be greater than if the thin stock line was used? In other words, would the pressure be greater causing the actuator valve to hold the butterfly valve open more/longer?

My opinion without ever doing what you ask is - there should be no problem using regular vacuum line. Give it a try. John

Well, I have a regular vacum hose on it now. (I don't have a stock hose anymore) and it really seems to pull hard on the butterfly if I try moving it by hand while the car is idling. That's why I ask.
