Hello to everyone,

It's nice to be back doing what we enjoy. That is Super Coupes and meeting people with the same interest. Helping who ever needs some. Maybe with parts you may need or just talking with you about your cars ultimate goal, needs, or help you in your quest to achieve them.... We are Open!!!

We opened the store site about three months ago. It took us close to 7+ months to open it. We finally opened it! Now the fun begins. There are presently 16,000 searchable items many are similar items but for different applications such as SP Rotors and pads other parts for many different cars some of us have a daily driver then we have our special cars the "Super Coupes" "XR7" "Mustangs" and a couple of others such as the "Lightning Trucks" We are still adding parts as fast as possible. This is not our eBay store. It is Your E-Commerce store site it was meant to be interactive so you can all enjoy the different categories and easy navigation for all ... We are still working on the interactive part which we will have soon for everyone to experience different functions we have planned to provide you with pleasure. We invite your comments, suggestions, volunteers, plus Also have fun doing so. We can all share stories and other ideas and functions we have planned for a long time. We have a special member landing page for all SCCoA Members and guest. We have special plans that will allow everyone to express their opinions and the subject matter which we will all choose together with your input. We want you to send us ideas on what you care to discuss from cars to the weather changes that are apparent to many of us and everything in between. We will need volunteers to help moderate these subjects. If It is of technical nature we will try to have special trained people to assist us in these discussions. Members, Mfg. Rep's speaking about new products coming to market and how they can benefit us all. Also we will have special guest speaking on a multitude of things. Entertainers on fun nights as well as just open discussions on current events that would be of interest to most of us all. This is all coming soon you can count on it. Laughter is good for the soul just as much as good food is good for our bodies we need to laugh more life is meant to be enjoyed Laughing actually heals our bodies!!!

We are looking for a talented web designer (s) to help get the interactive part of the store on track as planned so if anyone can assist in this we want to hear from you. This has been one of our main goals to enable you to interact with such things as how to perform different task assisting you to find the answers to a specific questions verbally ( Voice activated) and receive an answer that you can understand verbally or in text not just about cars but different hobbies or even collectables, parts that we can exchange. We will discuss how this will work at one of our first get together and also eMailed to you or posted right here on SCCoA. Technology is moving so fast that now we can do things that we never thought were possible not to long ago. We have many more things to get done to bring this to you for when ever you need to use them 24 hrs. a day. This was just an idea and now it has become a reality for everyone to enjoy.

Yes !!! We are open now but we are not completely finished yet with all the functions that are still in the works and hope to be finished in time for the Grand Official Opening. For those of you that haven't visited yet come on and take a look... and leave us your feedback ideas etc.

We have many products now but still need to add more to the site we will be adding them as time allows us to coordinate with the right web master or programmer (s). So If you are interested in helping us bring this come to come light contact us so we can discuss it with you. The Grand opening will have surprises and gifts to many lucky people depending on different things we have planned for you. We will announce the date of the festivities. Congratulations Victor and Diane. I wish i had time to help out with the site, but my schedule just doesn't permit much spare time. after 60-70 hrs or work and having 4 kids, that doesn't leave much time for hobbies, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I had a great time working with you for the parts I wanted, and should have them on friday. Thanks again for all the help!!!!

Keep em SCreamin...

We compared it to a Dyno Jet...It was within 1 to 3 HP in difference the same at the flywheel. Thanks TOM-SC your always there for us, Donna wonderful Lady, N1sniper great guy, 95MustangSC right on, Pablon great friend, Dahoop cool dude.. Thanks Buddy, SCreaming We didn't forget you. In appreciation to you guys and Gals that are always ready to lend a hand. We in return want to save you a few bucks. Our prices on the store are lower in many items compared to eBay most of the time. So check it before you click it ! Send us some ideas on what you want group purchases on and we will do the best we can.

I am not posting to advertise but to thank everyone for their on going support. We like to give back when we can and will continue to do so for as long as we're here. We just want to say.... Thanks to you all !!! We hope we can continue to meet your expectations. It is not always about money:rolleyes:  :D

We will see you all soon. We will still take evening tech questions or emergency orders so don't hesitate to call. We are here to help as much as possible. We realize the need is there! Hi Dennis,
I have really enjoyed speaking with you about everything you have accomplished with your Mustang. The Supercharger kit was much more work than many people think. People sell these so called Mustang kits:rolleyes: I know they are only trying to dump parts to people who think that just having a Supercharger plus an intercooler and a bracket or two does it. How wrong and misleading that is to those who have never tried this. After talking with you I was glad to see that someone found out how misleading that Supercharging of a EFI V6 Mustang really is. I think you should post more on your personal experiance and what you had to do to get this kit to really work. I think that doing the Super Coupe engine transplant is probably cheaper and much easier and possibly not as costly and much less work. I have done three or assisted with three and yours will be #4 The work and time it took you not to mention the $$$ They should definetly speak with you. I can also explain but It is the owner of the Mustang that needs to know the true facts. I was amazed at the Compression ratio your engine has 10.1 that is awesome. I am looking forward to doing the swap at our place if time allows.
On another note, We really appreciate you placing our web site at the (Air Force Fire Fighters Board) on Base for others who may need our services can find us. We look forward to working with you when you are settled back home in California and open your Speed shop. We would gladly work with you. Thank you It was great talking with you today. Hope you finished the intake Gasket. We hope to see you next week end. We will do as much as we can. You can keep your Stang at our place until your ready to ship it back home;) We look forward to meeting you in a few days.

Diane and I have been thinking about the Grand Opening we have not had yet. An Open House Party

We think It is time to break all the price barriers and give out good discounts not only that but give out some gifts to all of you who have supported us through out the years. We have plenty of parts and cars with parts but not much help taking some of the parts off with the time we have to do it. We could have a big old yard sale as I made joke of or we can try to find someone to help us take parts off then get them out to those who need some them quick. We also have New parts, Cars, and we feel this would be a good time of the year to open up and give out some great prices. Also give gifts to lucky browsers or buyers. You don't have to buy to win something that can be of use to anyone. I wish I knew what that could be but I don't. We will be giving out some good door prizes to a percentage of people who will win them at random just by luck. We will have a third party hold the numbers of those who's numbers will be picked from a hat. We are thinking of SCCoA holding the numbers and those people who win will have a certain amount of purchasing power to purchase what you need not what we will give because you might not need that particular part. Our gifts will range from small parts to expensive parts.
New or used. Now we do not know how to get this set up so as many of you who want to join in will also get a discount on what you need. Since the store is already priced out we will need your request on certain parts you may need and we will discount it the best we can. This will not work any other way. Request what you need by email and we will give you a % discount from 2% to 10% something's may get 12% 0r 15% discount. It depends. We want to set a date to start this...Since it's Christmas a lot of you with children may be tight with funds. So we will hold the part you need for when your funds are in better shape. We will hold it for you for lets say 60 days at most maybe 90 days. Hard to gauge this. Here is what we think would work out nice... Have it after Christmas or during Christmas ??. We have tons of parts for 1989 to 1990 1991 SC parts more than another's in the used parts area. In the new parts we have parts and things for almost any car or year. We have been working on a special page for all SCCoA Members only so if you want to be able to get some of these benefits you will have to join SCCoA. I will ask George to set something up so for those of you who come and are not aware of SCCoA will know about the club and it's benefits those who do not pay for membership can then join right here by filling out a form George Davenport might be able to set up for us...We have a nice page we have been working on but time has been short to say the least. We are going to see if we can do a Poll to see who and what date would be best for most of you. We are having some guys come over soon to get some of these things organized in our shop so we can deliver quickly. It is something we owe you all for your trust, friendship and support for the last 5 years!!! Please send some dates to get this going and then We will post a poll for everyone to vote on a date a week or two?? We will hold this special event. Thanks for any suggestions. Please give us some feedback so we can get started as soon as you all think would be the best time to have this open house party or sale and door prizes as well as a final drawing that will be held the last day of the Event!!!

No I tell it like it is. Its great to sell parts, Its better to support the club. You gonna make money off us than kick it back plan and simple.Your either part of this thing or you are here to make money, I tell it like it is. If you knew me you would know that I dont pull any punches. Some of the vendors have been here for a long time. Some even get the party started like Dave Dalke. People will ask him questions but buy from sombody else if they can save $10. With out guys like him this club wouldnt be Shi@, but hey what do I know.

SCreamin
12-15-2006, 11:23 PM
there's nothing wrong with telling it like it is. but this is thread is about a month or so old. Can a Vendor not wish folks happy holidays and merry christmas without getting a rash of shi@??

it's kinda difficult to get a company started and be successful, and a lot of the time your funds might be limited. I know that once Victor gets his business off his feet and moving, he'll be glad to help sponsor events.

It takes time, you never know, not all vendors carry the same parts/items. you might find something that someone else doesn't if you're looking for it.

I'm not trying to start anything here, I was just wondering if i missed something since this seemed to come out of the blue.

tim
12-15-2006, 11:38 PM
Not trying to start anything either. But the shootout is the big deal for this club. If you sell parts here you should kick to the shootout to show you care period. It dont have to be a lot. Its the thought that counts. As in Merry Christmas except in October. As in thank you for your support, if i have to explain it any more than that I give up. Vendors make money off this site period so kick!

007_SuperCoupe
12-16-2006, 01:36 AM
Not trying to start anything either. But the shootout is the big deal for this club. If you sell parts here you should kick to the shootout to show you care period.

If the shootout is such a big deal for this club, why is it not an "official club function"? It is organized by a vendor... with it's major sponser C&L. And why is the participant numbers less than 5% of the total cars listed on this site? Don't get me wrong...I had a blast at the '05 shootout. But in reality, it's really not that big of a deal to this club as a whole. (Heck we can't even get 10% of PAID members of this site to attend it, not to mention the percentage compared to the actual production numbers of these cars!)

And please, if you are going to insult people around this site, please make sure that you have some facts straight first. You are speaking from emotion (it bleeds through the words that you've typed here) and emotion is not rational. The fact of the matter is, people support this club in different ways. And remember, the shootout is not this club. Just because a particular vendor does not openly sponsor a club event, doesn't mean that they don't support the club. Victor does things that even the other "established" vendors don't do. I'm not going to get specific here, because I don't have any thing against any of the other vendors. However, I do know of very specific instances where service after the sale was nothing. Promises of fixing something went unfulfilled, and customers were left to go other places to get the help they were seeking. That is as specific as you will get from me on that subject. I will tell you though that Victor bends over backwards for satisfaction after the sale. He goes way further than he needs to as a vendor.

Simple fact of the matter is that without this club, NONE of the vendors would be here. NONE of them...And it's likely the same in reciprical. But to judge a vendor on the sponsorship (or lack of) for an event that is an "official" club event is plain irresponsible. Then to insult him on a public site like this borders on the illegal.

Now, I'm not here just to say my .02 in support of Victor. My words go for all the vendors who cater to the SC community. I purchase from all of them and support all of them. If you said this about Bill or Dave, I would respond the same way that I have here. You are simply ignorant of the facts (of which you speak like you do know them) and circumstances involved in the "perceived" sponsorship of event "X." Maybe try asking Victor why he didn't publically sponsor the shootout...Have you ever tried that? No, you haven't, otherwise you probably would not have ever posted this on Victor's thread about his grand opening sale...

Please, in the future, find out the FACTS before you make a complete idiot of yourself like you just did. (Because you come across like a spoiled little brat who didn't get his way one time too many...)

Edit for content correction: I have been made aware that SCCoA does indeed sponsor the shootout. Up until this point I was not aware of that as it is obviously not a piece of well published or promoted information...like the C&L sponsorship is. I apologize for any mis-information that in put into this post.

Here here Sammy. Tim, your comments amount to nothing more than public slander.

joenintiesc
12-16-2006, 01:39 PM
Not to mention that he was a sponsor for last year's Shootout... Maybe his ongoing health problems (public knowledge on these boards) prevented him from being involved this year? He did just have major heart surgery that he is recovering from... :(

You mention Bill Evanoff, but the guy only has 53 posts on the SCCOA. At least Victor is an active member here, even if he is more likely to get bashed than almost anyone else...

007_SuperCoupe
12-16-2006, 02:02 PM
You mention Bill Evanoff, but the guy only has 53 posts on the SCCOA.

Bill was one of the original members here. There was a time I can remember that he posted here daily. The post count that is shown is not accurate and can be changed. He also owned the SCCoA for a time as well. So please don't make those comments unless you actually know what's going on!

There are very few of what I would term our "founding fathers" of this club left around here. Many of them simply left the club because of comments like this. They don't have to put up with it, so they left. And with them a lot of knowledge that we are left trying to learn again. I commend both Dave and Victor for sticking it out so far because they both have received more critisism from people on these boards than anyone else in recent years. And they stick around. These are two of our vendors who if they decided to walk away from the SC world would leave us where? This club would dry up in a matter of a couple years.

Bottom line is to support the vendors who support this club...REGARDLESS of how they support this club. If you've got personal issues with a vendor...KEEP IT PERSONAL, don't bring it into the public view if it doesn't have to be. There are far too many examples of people bringing personal issues to the forefront of the club here that just don't need to be.

joenintiesc
12-16-2006, 02:22 PM
I know very well who Bill Evanoff is. There was nothing even remotely insulting toward him about my comment. I am on these boards regularly, and even without looking at a post count, I know I rarely if ever see a post by him. People praise him all the time, but he does not contribute to the forums. That's all I was pointing out, and it was factual, so what is the part that I don't "actually know what's going on"?.

V8Supercoupe
12-16-2006, 04:47 PM
People contribute in their own ways. It's not up to any of us to decide what ways we want certain people and vendors to participate. That's ignorant.

Everyone has their own set of circumstances which dictate what direction they go with as far where their participitation lies.

If someone contributes to SC owners, club members, the club as a whole, or people in general, they don't deserve the negative comments.

Stop being a pesimist.

ThunderDave
12-16-2006, 06:31 PM
I think SC owners support the vendors and the vendors support us. I mean without each other, we wouldn't be here. I do believe Victor was busy trying to get his new store going and I'm sure that along with the health problems played a major part in why he wasn't a shootout sponsor this year.

And so far as vendors posting, I'm not sure that is always a good idea. Someone might take it wrong if they did and think that vendor was pushing his parts. We all know how to access the vendors and I'm sure if we had a question, they would be happy to help if they can. I've had help from several different vendors on questions about a problem with my car or a product.

Let's try supporting each other instead of tearing each other down. Merry Chistmas and Happy New Year everyone. Now I think I need some egg nog. ;)

joenintiesc
12-16-2006, 07:17 PM
And so far as vendors posting, I'm not sure that is always a good idea. Someone might take it wrong if they did and think that vendor was pushing his parts.

Well, imagine if someone like David Dalke, who can be considered a vendor, did not post! I think, vendor or not, the more who contribute to the forums, the better. Even if it is only to come on and tell everyone what specials are being run or new parts being offered. Where else are folks supposed to find out about this stuff? But vendors want to feel like regular members too, I imagine.

No vendor is getting rich from selling SC parts. And so what if they were? There are plenty of other ways to make a living, 99% of which do not benefit an SC owner in any way. So in my humble opinion, if you are a vendor AND a regular contributor to the forum, you are a double asset to the community! I'm not in anyway criticizing you David/ RadiumSC, so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year right back at you!

Joe, I don't have a problem with a vendor posting new products and so on if it's in the right forum. Dave probably posts more than any of the other vendors and there's nothing wrong with that. Most of his posts aren't about his products though. Paul (BTM) doesn't post as much as he used to, but he, like Victor, does contribute to the club. So I don't think a vendors post count is a good measurement on how much they support or contribute to the club.

What about the rest of us? We give our $15 a year and post some useful info every now and then. Are we doing all we could do to support the club????

Hello,Tim,
You must be new around here... I will tell you a few things you obviously do not know. You have made some unfounded remarks that are very erroneous. You should always get the facts before you go blasting anyone!.... I am sorry for your misinformed comments and you could not be further away from thuth.

Let me start with the 1st Shoot-Out that took place 3 years ago. David Dalke wrote to me and asked me if I would consider helping him sponsor the 2004 Shoot-out!!! My reply was YES!!! We stayed in communication and we donated plenty and David and I worked together to drum up and get the word out to members because we needed at least 30 participants for it to break even. I wrote eMails to many members then and started working and promoting the Shoot-Out. We have supported the Shoot-Out for the first two years. And you wonder why we did not participate this year?? We were never contacted or asked to sponsor this year's Shoot-Out. Why don't you ask David Dalke why we did not participate? We have been active in every Shoot-Out that we have been asked to help sponsor. We have also sponsored Charitable Poker Runs With SVToA for Limphoma Cancer research. Many of the SCCoA members were at that event as well. Even with my health problems, this still would not have stopped us from giving the best we can to any club functionsI have proposed other ideas to some of the Admin about other good things that could benefit members in times of hardship. They are still working on this subject when they are ready with the aswers they will get back to us.. I did not know it was a SCCoA event until recently. I always thought it was a David Dalke Event Then David Neibert became more actively involved which I felt was admirable.. I know the first year we gave cash and plenty of it plus gift certificates. Last year, we donated a Splitfire Tachometer with total recall and memory back up and plenty more gift certificates!!!. The Tachometer was presented to the oldest driver participating in the Shoot- Out. We will continue to sponsor events of SCCoA or any chapter where we can help make a difference. I hope this helps you Tim, to please get your facts in order. How much support did you give us in 2004 and 2005 when we were sponsors? Did you buy from us then? Can we find you in our sales reports? We have always done the best we can with all members and Guests of this good organization.....

Happy Holiday to each and every one who have posted and replied with such good feed back We thank you guys and you know how much Diane and I appreciate all your kind words and truth. As always, Take Good care and we hope to see you at this next Shoot- out!

Anyone who has a bad thing to say about Victor and Diane is obviously misinformed these people are first class and a positive addition to this community. As far as sponsoring an event a vendor can do as much as he can afford to do.Every one is limited as far as the time and money they can contribute.I have yet to have the opportunity to meet Victor but from talking to him on the phone no one should have any misgivings about his commitment to the SCCOA and its members. GOD Bless you and you and yours andhave a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.:)

Victor has been very helpful to me personally, and is a great asset to the SCCoA. Tim, have an open mind man, he'd help you out too if you'd get your foot out of your mouth.
Glad you're feeling better Victor. Merry Christmas!

Now I wont get into one of these silly pissing contests that have been going on here...WHICH WAS MY POINT WHEN I MADE THE POPCORN COMMENT ITS SILLY AND CHILDISH..YES JUST LIKE MY POPCORN COMMENT

But as far as Victor and Diane I will Vouch for them. I have been to thier home many times and always always always they have been very hospitable generous and bent over backwards to help in anyway they possibly could. You wont find a Vendor in any other business that goes the extra mile like these guys do. This club is extremely fortunate to have folks like these to help us all out. Thank you Victor and Thank you Diane for saving my bacon on more than one occasion. I truley consider you both friends.

Now Rick, I'm offended. Popcorn is not silly and childish. :D

Yeah, let's just say I've only spoke to Victor over the phone, but he's made me feel like a long lost friend. He's gone out of his way to do things for me and you are right Rick, this club is very fortunate to have Victor and Diane as vendors and friends.

Now is that butter low cal.? ;)

Victor, I assume you are refering to the weekend of the 6th and 7th? If so, we are getting married that weekend, and will be in Debary the week of the 7th, so we would like to stop in and meet you. We put a post in the Florida chapter about getting together with the members from the area and it looks like we have some plans for the following weekend.

WOW

Man that is really cool. lets talk trash about a guy that has helped this club a lot. man Tim you must not know victor and Diane very well. I speak with Victor every week about the cars we all own and love the man has a lot of ideas and ways to help people. But it is people like you that say this trash and make good people like Victor go out of business. We just lost 2 vendors this year and that's not knowing where Wynn is from Texas thunderbirds. I am not starting any trouble but dude get your stories right. you say Dave Dalke gets a lot of questions he is a vendor that's what he is supposed to do. you don't think victor gets a lot of phone calls. Dave Dalke is a good man helps this club out a lot also Bill Evanoff was one of the first ones to give help to the after market world for the sc. We have a lot of good vendors that work with us to help us get to the goals we have I use all of them not just one. do you know how spinning wheels was started? vVctor started it as something to do to keep him busy and to help the club so people like you and me can afford to maintain and upgrade these cars. You say that the shoot out is a big deal to this club so why not have two of them one on the east coast and on the west coast. You talk a lot of trash and say you are going to tell it like it is well I think a real man would have called victor up and told him how it is over the phone and not on the net. If I had your number I would call you up and tell you like it is! This is a club just like www.mamn12.com those guys stick together like glue if you talk bad about one you talk bad about all of them. and this club used to be the same way and still is to a point. Victor would not sell you a part unless it will better you and help you. some vendors would sell you a part just to sell it and make money. I hope you are at the shootout and we can all see if your motor is as big and as fast as your mouth. I don't post here much but when someone wants to talk trash about a good man I have to put in my 2 cents.

on a better note it is about 4:00 am here and Santa will be coming here soon. I have been watching him on radar.

victor and Diane merry Xmas and a happy new year say hi to the family for me.

to all my sc brothers and sisters merry Xmas and a happy new year I hope Santa brings you all lots of gifts.
