Bronco II starting question

My truck runs mint. Never had a problem. Tonight I drive over to my parents. The truck runs fine. I shut it off and about 3 hours later get in, and all it does is crank, crank, crank!!

Checked for spark and I have it!
I have fuel, I can smell it!

Any suggestions on why it suddenly won't start?

Re: Bronco II starting question

spark spark spark... or lack there of!!!

Check the plug leads, the plugs, the Dist, the Rotor etc.

Automotive Electrics 101

90% of starting problems are BATTERY problems!

"Load Test" your battery. If the 'loaded voltage', goes below 10 VDC, you Batt. is No Good!

Re: Automotive Electrics 101

Well, I lied.....

It seems when I got in the truck and started it lat night, the fuel pump must have busted it's last NUT!
I got in the truck this morning and Low and behold, NO music was coming from the tank!

NO fuel......
A little starter fluid and it coughed a bit. SO, it looks like I will be getting a new pump today! CAN'T WAIT to drop the tank and tackle that......NOT!

thanks guys!
