I had some time on my hands today so I decided to install new cross drilled rotors and brake pads. Took it for a test run and it feels great......I like the way it looks also.
Just though i'd share my latest mod.

Well it's no big brake upgrade like some of us have..ED... but yes it works very well, until I get the set up that you have :D. Then it will be even better.

I see that your tirre is being used a jack stand! Man thats carzy! also, a jack should only be used as a lifting device, not for supporting 4000lbs of car for any periods of time.
Other than that they do look sweet!!
I'm glad that you got the brakes, I wish I could have helped out more on that for all to enjoy.

Thanks. I must admit that I was afraid that the car could slip and damage my chrome  , glad that did not happen.
No problem. It would have been nice to include the entire club on such a deal....but you did your best and that's all we can ask for. The effort was very much appreciated.

I forgot to mention that if anyone wants a set of these cross drilled rotors they can order them from Elite Auto in Scarborough.
I thought they were nicely priced at $69 each for the front and rear.

$69? How do they do them so cheap? They're not made of aluminum, are they? ;)
Jim.

Well, when they're that small, there isn't much metal in them, so they can be sold very inexpensively :D
Didn't I tell you guys I'd be buggin' all of you about having smaller front rotors than my rears ?? :p
cheers

No Sean, they are not your old rotors. My boss had thrown them out. That way I wouldn't have drilled them behind his back, then sell them to someone in the club! I was going to tell on sat. not something I like to type, I would rather have told you face to face.
I'm sorry about that. I do have Bill's old rotors, Igf you want them, there yours. Jim had emailed me tonight lookng for those rotors, he would like, them I do belive you have mail.

Ryan,
As I told Jim, it's no problem at all. You're welcome to give him those rotors you got off Bill (assuming it's OK with Bill).
It's unfortunate that things didn't work out with cross-drilling the rotors. At $69/ea brand new from the store, I'm not sure it would have been worth your while anyways.
I guess that's what you wanted me to phone you for. I'll talk to you Saturday/Sunday.
Best regards,
Sean
