pulley question

I have a m90 supercharger from a '93 SC (oval inlet,keyed pulley),
and i want to custom fit this supercharger in an engine i'm building.

the problem is i need a 6-groove pulley that will fit this m90.
by fit i mean to be "compatible" on the shaft.
the rest, lining up with the other pulleys on the engine is not a problem
cause it isn't fitted yet.

from what car with a m90 with a 6-groove pulley,
would the pulley fit on the SC's m90?

somebody said all m90 with keyed pulleys have the same shaft.....
eg. the GM series-1...can anyone confirm this?

maybe a difficult question, that should be asked elsewhere...
but i tried everyone i can think of....even pulleyboys (several times) but they didn't answer.....

any help ,or link to that info would be highly appreciated.

might be a silly question, but why not just put a 6 rib belt on the 8 rib pulley unless you're that worried about extra rotating mass?

I'n not sure where you could get a 6 rib pullley, sorry

i agree just use the 6-ribbed belt on the 8-ribbed pulley.i did that on my 89sc with the ac deleted, couldn't find an 8-ribbed belt short enough so i used a 6-ribbed belt.

I think the pulley from a Bonneville SE or GTP should be of the 6 rib style......

Or you can go ahead and use the 8 rib pulley with the 6 rib belt....

i need it to be smaller in diameter as well,so i was thinking why not get the "right one".

yes,the 92-96 Bonneville has a 6-rib style pulley,keyed too.
but i'm not sure if the shaft is of the same diameter.
using common sence ........same eaton, same build year.....should be it...
but is it?

I saw quite a few guys at the shoot out using thinner belts on their motors with standard 8 rib pullies....

i ordered a Bonneville pulley,
if it doesn't fit, i will do what you suggested,
a smaller belt on the 8-rib pulley.

thanks guys
