You know...
That last time I was on RT80 going from, St Louis to NY I bent two rims avoiding a dead deer in the road....
This time around a racoon decieded that it was a good time to hobble across the highway in front of me...So I see something then BABAMMMM...
I go what the heck was that
My Buddy says a Racoon
I say..Dude why didnt you tell me!
He says....Well I was watching him hobble across the highway
Sweet....
So I have a nice big dent in my liscence plate..a lil scratch on header panel..A busted plate holder..And the panel undr my car (94sc) was ripped off.
Besides that an lt1 camaro and an older acura itegra couldnt keep up with the beast on the highway.
Just thought I'd share my great wonderful news

Hehe...a skunk... I hit one of those last fall, fortunately I only had to smell it for a few days before the smell wore off, and of course, I had another SC to drive when I wasn't alone.
I "hit" a fawn a few weeks ago. The mother deer was standing in the road, so I started slowing down promptly, she hopped out of the way and a baby jumped in her place. By that time I was going around 30mph, so I really had to slow down quick. The dumb thing started running the same direction the car was going (running away from the car) and just before I got the car to stop, I bumped it in the butt and knocked it down. That stupid thing jumped back on it feet and got off the road after that! Fortunately, I only ended up with a small dent behind the Thunderbird emblem on my hood :)

That happened to me about five years ago with the '94. I had about a second to try to react and ended up literally watching the deer run into the driver side door! .
The deer dropped to the ground, laid there for a few moments, then got back up and ran in the direction it had been coming from. Fortunately the car only had two little dings and a scuff on the door molding.
Damon, that sucks, but the two kills sound good, esp. the LT1.

same thing happened to me by my house, a deer just ran rought out in front of my car and ran into the side of a car coming the other way.
one time a deer jumped off an embankment and ended up sprawled across the hood of my mothers car. The two front legs were hanging off on the drivers side, and the two hind legs were hanging off the passenger side....he just kinda lounged there for a few minutes to catch his breath then he wriggled his way off and ran away.

I thought I told this story already, but I'll tell it again * .....
I was just out of high school and was riding with a friend of mine in his dad's dump truck....
We were cruising down a dirt road at about 45 mph when we saw a box turtle on the edge of the road......
My friend thought he could "nick" it with the front tire of the truck and shoot it back into the woods.....
Well, he missed it with the front wheel and caught it with the rear tandem wheel.....
The turtle got stuck in between the two rear wheels and we heard THWOP, THWOP, THWOP as we continued down the road a ways....
I guess my friend thought he could sling the turtle out from its wrongful imprisionment.....
We finally stopped after about ¼ mile and we had to get a tire iron to pry the poor thing out.....
* No turtles were harmed during this event and the poor box turtle was released back into the wild, except for a few nicks in its shell from the pry bar....
It was last seen wandering around in circles somewhere in cental Lincoln County NC....:p

my worse driving experiece was when I went to Queens to pick up a rearend and somehow 2 studs broke on my drivers side wheels and the other 3 were somewhat loose. I guess the guy that put on the wheels decided they were tight enough but I guess not

i was listening to the radio the other day, and they were talking about people hitting deer and such, and this guy called in and had a rather interesting story.
he was driving out in the country and a deer ran into the driver side fender of his car, got back up, and took off across a field, well he had turned right and the same deer ran right into the passenger side fender of his car!!! gave me a good laugh while i was driving.
