Have any of you guys seen it on Moranas webpage?....Kind of what I wanted except it doesnt have the pulley attachment from what I can tell.
Looks to be on a turbo car of some sort...
Hope it works better than my Double roller timing chain did. I bought a universal water punp kit from Sumit and it works fine. I used the air conditioning bracket to mount it.:D

Damon As you know I have been designing and have
differtent style electric waterpumps built for the 3.8SC
over the past few years. I don't think It would a problem
to build what you want.As we have talked about in PMs.
But I am not interested in putting out all the money
for R&D and machine ,material, electric pump with pulley.
to get this style pump you want.Just to have it reproduced
in a matter of a few days or weeks. Go buy a electric
waterpump the style you like.Send it to me. And I will try
to help you get built the style pump you want.
I have spent to much money to try and design and develope
other parts for SCers in the past. I have been here long enough
to know that.If you want a part,Do not ask others on the SCCoA
WHERE ,HOW, WHO will help you build a part. Just annonce that
you have the part designed built and ready to market in a 30 days.
In less than the 30 day period ,you will have at least 3 to 5
people making this eletric waterpump design that you want.
So my advise to you is. To start a new post.Announce you have a new
electric water pump design for sale.Decribe the design you (want)have.
And by the end of the month you will just simply need to pick &
buy one from a vendor/fabricater. That had or have no money or
enough brain power to do there own R&D for original design work.
Thanks Randy

Does the water pump pulley cause that much drag that going electric is going to make some more noticeable power?

I realize it isn't a 3.8L SC engine, but the electric water pump did give me a noticeable gain (both in the SOTP and E.T.'s) on my DOHC XR7. The coolant temps are 10 degrees cooler on average as well.

Randy believe me I understand. From a fabricator designer point of view it sucks. Who can really put a price on the amount of time let alone the idea itself to create a custom product..I am currently infected with the rare Italian ailment FUNDZALO..So the minute I get out of that perhaps we can do something about what we had talked about
When i went to the electric water pump and manual steering i also upgraded the blower and went with a little bigger cam. The one thing that i noticed the most is how much faster the engine winds up without all the drag on it.:D
