95 stock 3.8 no s/c

ok i own a 92 sc but my dad owns a 95 no s/c and his car when u start it first thing and nail it. it will blog and pop in the air box drive it down the road a lil and it will get better then go away this car dont do this all the time what would u guys say it is and sorry i know this is a sc forums

I have the same problem and i have 5.0 in mine as for your dads not being a sc thats ok Tbirds and cougars are OK on this site my car is a lx but looks like a sc

Most times a MAF does not set a code so it can be harder to diag. I would suggest driving it without the MAF sensor hooked up and see if it runs like a scalded dog. It may run rough at idle and you may even have to power brake it, but it should accelerate quite nicely.
