Its a aluminum delete plate that replaces the water pump.
And has stainless steel hoses to connect an external
electric waterpump motor. made for Gary Khuns.

The electric waterpump I have has the electric water pump
motor bolted to the center of delete plate in stock pump location.
Looks like the stock pump but has electric motor. All radiator
hoses and hose locations are stock.

Thanks Randy

The actual pump gary kuhn used on the car pictured is a meziere 37 gpm unit. Randy made the plate and it has to fittings that flow from the pump to the plate to circulate the coolant.

Also it no longer circulates water through the oil cooler or heater core. He also had underdrive pulleys and went to a shorter 53" belt, removed the serpentine tensoiner, and used the alternator to tension the belt by moving it out from the top bracket.

Here's a post about it but the pics have been removed from the server:

I dont think Garys Kuhns designed plate is the best to use.
When you blow a head gasket,And the pressure leaks out
through the coolant system. The pressure will blow out the
radiator seams. There is no expansion room with the use of
his style set it up.
