Hey,

So I've owned my 1990 5-speed SC and cruised these forums for three, almost four years now. Yay, next year is my 5th anniversary! Just curious and I tried doing a search on it but found no straight answer:

What is meant by MN12? I see posts about MN12 engine bays, holes in MN12 hoods, MN12 parts and such, but haven't quite got the drift of what MN12 is. I know MN12 Performance has closed out and bunked up with SCP, or whatever, but seeing this term everywhere and not knowing what it is is killing me. Maybe Im a bit slow at a few things, but does it have something to do with the Lincoln, Thunderbird, and Cougar models of the early 90's....?

Also, I need a 150 mph speedometer for ma bird. I swear to god shes gettin up there and some of you say stockers top around 240-245 MAX (km/h for you southern folk). I still think it hits over that, particularly with a little more open exhaust, so that is why I need the 250 km/h guage cluster. And also to prove a point to my friends, who I hope I don't kill along with me at those speeds, crazy s$%t, I know. White faced would be ideal. I could make my own white faces but just don't have the time at the moment. If y'all know where to pick up a set, lemme know. Thanks.

found the mn12 issue. wikipedia. Midsize North American car project, or somethin along those line. Involving Lincoln Mk VIII from 93-98 as Fn 10 variant?, and the Bird and Cougar from 89-97. Two door platform all consisting of the same suspension, wheel bolt pattern, and wheelbase setup, with "sport" birds consisting of larger rotors. SC included?

Neat.

Still need some input on them guages though. Fact: Did ya know white thunder turns into white lightning at 150 mph? White lightning also kills people at that speed because when hitting something at 150 mph, it feels like you're actually hit by lightning, except when you're dead you don't feel anything.............or do you?

At least the speedo will then be true to some extent, plus you know the car will do it so that also gives ya braggin rights, not?

Check ya later.;)
