I'm just bored and thought I'd post a picture or two of my Anny. SC. It's lowered about 3" all around and has 17x9's (245/45/17) front and 18x10's (275/40/18) in the rear. The car is currenty a couple diffrent colors, the reason for this is there was a minor incident. I had a low speed impact into a curb because of ice before I lowered it. While collecting parts to fix it I decided to swap the front end to a 95 model with a 97 hood and headlights. After all is said and done it will be repainted the origional paint scheme.

UPDATE: Unfortunately the bird may be down and out. A couple hours ago a 4 door Accord failed to yeild while I had a green light and crossed my path at 35mph. The front end of the car is gone, it crushed the bumper's support, headlights and hood. The car still runs and can be driven a little but I fear that they will total it due to the cost of repair. I'll find out when the bodyshop takes a look at it. What really sucks is I just had the exhaust re-done today. I'm in ok shape too, my back, neck and shoulder are really sore and stiff.(seatbelt went into perma-lock) We'll see how I feel after some rest.

Looks nice with the new front end. Will really look good painted black/silver.

How'd you get it lowered 3"? Did you have trouble getting it aligned or does it chew tires up?

wow thats going to look really nice
the rest of the car looks like its been really well kept
how many miles?

The drop is from a set of Jamex springs I bought off another member here with the wheels. They advertise a 2"-2.5" drop but when I measured everything afterward it ended up being almost a full 3". I aligned it at my work and got it almost dead on. I checked it a couple weeks ago and it was still good. The milage is just over 79k (still can produce 12-14 lbs of boost under WOT with an opened up exhaust), I however fear that the engine will need a rebuild eventially. At 75k I had to replace the headgaskets (in my garage, really sucked) and noticed some very very small pitting on one of the cylinder walls. It hasn't been getting driven much and when cleaned up is a good looking car. The drivers side has been keyed and really shows up when clean and front seats need a once over.

I really like them too, I almost went with the regular genaric Cobra R's until I stumbled upon these. They look even better when I break out the power ball and actually polish them.

Thats going to be one sharp 35th Anny! I love 35th Annys so much and that is deffinately going to be one of my favorites. Is it an automatic or manual?

It's an automatic, I have been contemplating doing a 5-speed swap but I'd need to find all the components to complete it first (been looking locally for a while now). Right now I am looking for another 3.8 for it and a 94-95 supercharger/inlet.

Whats the offset on those rims? Are they 4.25 pattern? I didn't think you could get 18x10's on the back of an SC especially lowered without clearance issues. Do have any rear shots of the car. I bet the 10's look good from the rear.

I'm not 100% on the offset, I'll have to pull the wheel and check. They are a very tight fit though, if I'm not carefull the tire will kiss the fender lip. I am going to get a set of helper bags to go inside of the coils to help with that. Hers is a picture from the back, sorry about the glare I'll take a better one after I get off work.

Where do you get jamex springs? My car sits so high it looks like it has four wheel drive.:D

Scott Long

Can't get them anymore. You can get a set of eibachs and cut a coil off them for a very low slam. Or the H&R's which go 1.7" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. The Eibach springs are 1.5" all around but will settle a little lower. Suspension Techniques springs claim 1.5" also but on the cars I've seen with them you can't even tell they are lowered. Maybe .5" is more like it for those.

I bought them a while back from a member on the forums from Oklahoma City, I picked up the wheels, bumper, hood and headlights from him too.

Unfortunately the bird may be down and out. A couple hours ago a 4 door Accord failed to yeild while I had a green light and crossed my path at 35mph. The front end of the car is gone, it crushed the bumper's support, headlights and hood. The car still runs and can be driven a little but I fear that they will total it due to the cost of repair. I'm in ok shape too, my back, neck and shoulder are really sore and stiff.(seatbelt went into perma-lock) We'll see how I feel after some rest.

Dude, that sucks! Glad you are ok, thank goodness for a solid built car I guess. Just from your description the car will be totalled though. It doesn't take much at all to write off one of these cars.

Did you get it painted or is it still red?

moore89

It was still red, If after a little while I get another I may have to hit you up for one of those ARs (really wanted to put one on the 35th).

You can always buy it back from the insurance and fix it or part it out.:D

I would like to buy it back (I don't know how they're going to give me or want for it back), and swap the parts I put on over to a low miliage blue 93 5-speed I'm looking at. Maby throw the stock springs and wheels back on it, put it in the garage and peice it back together over time.
