what if we took the bypass valve out and closed out the holes where its connected would the car run better or would this cause a prob

Well I think the life expectancy of the blower will be alot lower as it will cavitate hard when your not using all that air pressure like at idle, or regular cruise speeds.

But because its a positive displacement blower in theory it CANT Cavitate as it will just keep inefficiantly pushing the air thats already in the intake already:confused:

Bad idea, Just make sure the bypass valve is directly connected to the intake plenum, then it should close when you stomp on it.

if you do a search on this you will find that the this has been discussed.

But I do believe it will cause your car to overheat.

I would not recommend it. I did it as an experiment, and my solid coupler was deformed after an inspection of 3000 miles. It was triangular in shape instead of a circle.
