Rotors

Im thinking of upgrading my braking system and wanted to know if our cars could use rotors from GT mustangs. Ford motorsports sells them for 170 a pair !

The 91-up SCs could use them if they were re-drilled for the 4.25" bolt pattern. They could be used on the 89-90 SCs but will not fit tight against the hub since their center bore is larger than the hub center. The 91-up SC hubs have a center step machined on the hub that is the correct diameter. I would not recommend running those rotors on the 89-90 unless you have "doughnut" spacers machined to take up the slack. If you need new hubs anyway, I would go with the 91-up hub.

The dual piston GT calipers and brackets will fit the 93-up SC spindles for even more of a brake upgrade.
