3.8 N/A vs. 3.8 SC heads?

Are there any differences between N/A heads and SC heads?

The 96-98 are the same save the valve stem diameter (8mm on SC 7mm for N/A) and the SC stamp.

Pre-96 N/A heads are junk.

yes, there are. Different cooling passage layout for 89-95 N/A. 99+ split port heads are effectively the same as the 89-95 SC heads, at least in cooling passage layout.

The 96 N/A heads can actually be made to outflow the SC heads...Probably has to do with the smaller valve stem diameter..They have one less intake bolt however

hey, damon, does the one less bolt affect sealing under boost?
