I got my fuel injectors out and one of them has the cap broken off of it. Could this cause it to leak?

Oh yeah it could. Looks like $300 out of your pocket, unless someone has a single they could sell you.

No the cap being cracked doesn't cause a leak, but it could be leaking anyway.

I used to remove all the caps, O-rings and spacer when I clean injectors. I don't have a source for them anymore so if I clean a set I just leave them put together, because they usually crack when you take them apart.

Well i had them tested and the guy said they were working perfectly... I'm not sure if that is good or bad. I guess now i will try to figure out what else it could be. I did reseal all of them so i guess it wasn't completely pointless.

What problems are you having?

How did I end up over here?

First question:
here is my previouse post
"Latley my car has been having really hard starts when i let it cool off. IF i let it sit overnight it would be really hard to start in the morning. When it did start it would let out a big puff of black/blue smoke and smell like gasoline so I asume that the reason it didn't start is because there is no spark. Also when i would crank it and let the key back there would be poping sounds from the engine... This morning i went to start it and it won't start at all. Any ideas as to where i should start looking???"

As for your second question... I'm not sure.

Did you check the regulator?

Point me to your last posts, please.
