I can't find the idle screw on my TB, I need to adjust it but there is absolutely no set screw to adjust, did all years SC TB's come with this screw? Does anyone have a pic of where exactly it is? I have checked the ENTIRE TB and can't locate it. Please help!

I need a pic! :D

The engine computer controls idle. There shouldn't be an idle adjust ment screw because the throttle plate is not used to adjust idle. An adjustable vacume leak controled by the IAC module as directed by the engine computer handles idle.

If your idle is low it could be that your IAC is dirty, thus enough air is not entering within the range of control for the IAC. The IAC or the wiring could also have failed.

There is a air bleed that is used to help set teh idle. I will look when I get home, don't remember exactly where it is.

It's the one that holds the throttle from closing all the way, it's not really an air bleed.
