gasket?

My gasket kit did not have a gasket to go between the SC intake plenum and the back of the supercharger. Exploded asm does not show one. Is it supposed to, metal to metal or sealer?
 
There is no gasket between the inlet plenum and supercharger. I seal mine with threadlock which is what the manual calls for. I also use it on the supercharger/supercharger top mating surfaces per the manual.
 
I get it from the Ford stealership. It comes in a small .34 FL OZ bottle and has the Ford name on it along with (Threadlock 262). The Ford part # on the bottle is E2FZ-19554-B
