Well, My car is still not running yet. The only thing left to do is swap the computer. My mechanic took my old computer out and noticed some bad grounds. He cleaned those up and continued to pull out my computer. He opened it up and noticed that the inside had corrosion dust all over it. He cleaned that up and re-installed it to see if that was causing the problem. Nope. Didn't fix a thing. He says tomorrow he will be swapping out computers to test it with a known working one. If this fails, then it must be a bad wire in one of the harnesses somewhere.
Now for the good news. When I asked him what my bill was up to (it has been in the shop for weeks, and god knows how much labour has been put into it), he said all of it was being done for FREE!!!!!! It was like music to my ears. I guess it won't be costing me as much in labour as I thought.
I'll keep you gents posted as new things come up and new things get eliminated.
