i checked out the 94'sc at pic and pull and i know this car, a co-worker knew the owner and told me about it. it was originally a pace car at richmond international raceway in 94'. it has bassett black rims,245/60/15 tires, 5" nascar spoiler, xenon front air dam.you can see on the faded paint where the stickers were for race sponsors.by the way it's black auto with grey leather interior. the dude there couldn't find the keys but said the only thing he knew was wrong was a leaking radiator, for $999 and a fee charge it;s not a bad deal.

the more i think about that car i believe it was used for promotional purposes by the local miller beer distributor and not like my friend said....the car was donated to pic and pull by a beverage company and the car has faint memories of a #2 and miller geinune draft on the side.....lol

well i am waiting for a guy in the marines to come back here next weekend so i can buy his car. Its a red 2001 gt 5spd all stock. 1 owner.
im trying to sell my tbird to a co worker that wants it. Im shooting for 2500 as it sits. I would really hate to part out my car. Too much time and money invested. Hopefully john( the guy that drives the lincoln continetial boat to jenros) buys it and fixes it up.

Matt, have you ever sat in that '01 Mustang? They weren't exactly degigned for big guys like us! As much as I loved my '03 Mach, it was cramped as hell inside!

oh well, gotta make sacrifices. Parking my unwashed tbird next to some supercoupes, or having unlimited aftermarket parts for a mustang.....its a tough tradeoff...:D

Well, when I had my Mach, all the T-Bird gang was "kind" enough to allow me to still park with them. Of course, I did eat a lot of crow!

I cant imagine owing 17,000 on a 6 year old mustang.

Probably bought it at a buy-here, pay-here. In Sept of 2000, I traded in a 95 LX T-Bird for my 1st 95 Super Coupe at Tidewater Car & Truck on Little Creek. A week later I was driving by & noticed a kid looking at it. I stopped in & he told me he'd just bought it. He was in the navy, & told me the terms he'd bought it under, & asked me if I thought he'd gotten a good deal. He was paying by allotment, $175 pulled out twice a month for 48 months. By the time he got it paid off he'd have paid $16,800 for a $6000 car. I winced.

Yeah, thats how most of those car no name car lots make their money. I went to Sunrise cycles a few years back to purchase another Gsxr-1000. I got to talking to the sales person. I asked them about the price. They told me the MSRP was 11,600. I convieniently pulled the print outout straight from the suzuki website out and showed them it was actually 10,499. The dude kind of got mad and said he would go check. He came back 5 minutes later and saidthey could sell it to me for 10,500. He then had me fill out a credit application and i waited another 30 min.. He came back again and said that there was no problems and i asked if they could do it for 10,500 out the door. He went and talked to his manager and said they would. I said ok. I told them which color i wanted and said id be back the next day. I came back the next afternoon and started looking over the paperwork. They had me financed through some no name bank for 22.5% interest. I then asked the salesman why he never asked me how i was gonna pay for it? I then pulled out a cashiers check for the 10.5k made out to them. The salesman got mad again and stormed out. He came back and said they wouldnt sell it to me for that and i had to pay another 1200.00 for taxes and assembly, and frieght charges. So after arguing with the general manager for another 15 minutes i finally took delivery of my new croth rocket for 10.5k. Which i was surprised, i really didnt think they were going to sell it to me. Either way, i didnt care. I really found it all very interesting that they wouldnt sell it to me unless i was gonna let them rip me off...

Yep, they make their money either through ludicrous interest or other BS fees. After seeing that kid get screwed I went back to my ship & told all the young, single lads in my division to NOT go buy a car unless they took me with them. Pre-approval from your own bank is the only way to go.
