Main stud questions

I have the ARP main studs and have just finished peicing together the rotating assembly

On the stud that secures the oil pick-up tube, I decided to screw the nut as far down the stud as I could until I ran out of threads, then I torqued the stud to specs using the block as my reference. This leaves a few(~1/4 inch) extra threads exposed to help bolt on the oil pick up tube securely.

There are still a bunch of threads(almost all) that still go into the block but the stud is not screwed into the block all of the way.

Is this ok?

On another note, On that particular stud I used that ARP thread lubricant into the block also. If what I did is ok, should I torque that bolt slightly different then the others since the threads going into the block are slightly more coarse then the threads that the nut screws to?? I think I should torque maybe a few pounds more then the recommended 64 lbs

What do you guys think?
