Fedex ships up to 150 lbs as long as you box it, or you can ship Fedex freight on a crate, and drop it off near the airport. I'm shipping a Jeep transfer case (100lbs, box 16"x20"x10") in a box to AL for about $60

Forward air is also great for bigger stuff that would require a pallet

I shipped a transmission and transfer case on a pallet to ohio for around $75.00. I dropped it at the dock here, and he picked it up at the dock there.

Fedex will ship it, just get a very sturdy box for it and make sure it's solidly in there and no fluids are going to leak out. Are you shipping just the center section, or the diff housing as well? If you don't need the housing, just shipping the center section can help. though if you need the ring and pinion, that's where there is a bunch of weight as well.
