Supercoupe Chevy........

Ive lingered around for a while now, having owned an 89 XR7 5 speed a few years ago. Just finished My 53 chevy pickup and I thought I would show it off a little.

Engine and trans are from a 95 Supercoupe. (Totally obscene in street rod community I know...)
Custom built Air/Water IC with Ford lightning transfer pump and GMC cyclone Water cooler.
6 inch long Stainless Steel intake tube.
A very free flowing exhaust.

Seems to run real strong, but has a few issues that need to be worked out (need to find some egr parts, and the trans seems to shift to shift a little soft, and the OD on/off switch wiring needs to be reattached somehow..).. Overall im VERY pleased with the swap!

And if anyone wants any specific pics I have got tons!!

Thanks! The first show it went to was sponsored by a local ford dealership of all places.. And yet it got everything from pissed off chevy guys, pissed off ford guys, confused people, and then the "bout time someone did that!" from a ford tech. :)

427 vette

Once saw a writeup and pictures of a "stingray" style vette (63 to 67) with a 427 ford in it. I would have given a full paycheck to be at a chebby shop when that Mag hit the stands :D

The best thing about it is the fact that is SOUNDS like the old 6er that was in some of them. I too heard about the guy with the 427 vette...bout time someone did that again too.

AHh that is great! Nice truck!...With an aftermarket tune you can get rid of the EGR and gain some power/safety there
