I am going to agree, that is UGGGLY but I have seen a Cougar and Thunderbird with that same thing on the tccoa.

If I remember correctly, (somebody Please Help Me!), there Were seperate F & R Wide-Body T-bird kits. They were Fiberglass & had buldging 1/4 panels, to accept wider F/R wheels. I wanted to put one of those kits on my '89 XR-7. As I recall, there was a very dramatic sculpture where the fenders met the headlights.

I like it but wish the rear flares rode higher up the quarters than they do. The blue one is the first I ever saw on the 'net, the scoop in the quarter needs to be slanted rearward and the car needs to be lowered just a little but still looks pretty cool. Heck, I'd drive it till the wheels fell off.
