1 in a million...never fails

I was rebuilding my s/c today and found something that I havent heard or seen mentioned anywhere before. I ordered 2 rotor shaft seals and bearings to replace mine because I was getting pressure in my snout and could tell one of the bearings was going out by feeling it being catchy. Anyway they "being all people and websites" say that both rotor seals and bearings are Rotor seals - Chicago Rawhide Part# 8522 and Front rotor bearings - NSK Part#NC6203C3X28. Well I am here to tell ya I have the one damn blower that came out of Ford with different size rotor seals. The bearings are the same. I verified them by part numbers on the originals as 6203's. The original seals where different colors one red and one blue I figured oh well thats neat. The first seal I put in with no problem. Ah but the second wouldn't fit. So I got both original seals and put the mic on them and there is enought difference you can see with the naked eye that the other seal is smaller then the other. So tomarrow I go to seal and bearing house and try to find another seal or to the machine shop to put it to bed for good on different sizes. If I can get a replacement I will get a part number on it. By the way nearest I can tell the inside of the seals are the same size. I will try and attach photos of the 2 seals and hope you can see the difference in the photo's. I have a 95 blower.

Are you sure somebody didn't have to repair the blower resulting in a bored out seal?
