Hi Gary,
Hope your doing well. I will try to explain.
We are trying to make the 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 inch. I personally think that going 2 1/2 inch is what the majority of the people want. I know a few guys that need 2 1/4" desperately. It has been hard enough to get the exhaust shop to do this without us ordering at least 25 sets. They do not want to be fined a ton of money for making a cat less product. I don't want to be fined for selling a cat less product. Even in Florida there are existing laws that you can't install an exhaust without cats. It's going have to include the cats. Otherwise they don't want to venture into it and it was hard enough to get them to do it in the first place. Or as long as I sell cats with the exhaust but they want to include the cats. I am not going to risk a fine over cat less exhaust. It doesn't take much power away anyway as long as they the high flow. We will have to see if the 2 1/4" Is going to present any problems. What has been happening is vandals have been cutting people cats off to sell the metal inside so they have been real busy replacing people catalytic converters. Some people just find a way to make a buck no matter what they have to do. I suppose you have heard of this new metal that the scrap yards pay a lot for the metal from inside the cats. We hope to be able to have these before spring time. It is winter in Florida so we have a lot of northerners from up north visiting now. I think you can tell being you live in Florida. I will post the very first ones up as soon as they install them in our cars and see how well they fit. It should not be to much longer. We will keep everyone updated.

Victor, Can you sell down tubes without cats ,IF the car is for off road
use only? And trailored to and from the race track of choise.
If you got a signed statment from the buyer. That states the car is for
track/offroad use only. Would this be enough for you to sell straight pipes
and get along with federal and state laws?

Hi Ya Randy,
I answered a post earlier but I must got distracted with a phone call or something. Good to hear from you and a good question to ask these guys. I know that they ultimately want to sell them with cats to make a few extra Dollars. They are old bikers and good guys but they are busy since the new wave of cats being cut off peoples cars for their precious metals inside. I offered to provide my cats since I get a good price on them but they said the would want too use their cats which are high flow cats which is good. If I could show then these post maybe it would convince then to go with the drag pipes as long as the buyer sends a letter saying it will be an off road car tailored for the track only even though I have that on my web site. The delay is that all these people vacation here in the winter. We call then snow birds so everyone is super busy including them. They also want me to commit to 25 sets of these down pipes and exhaust they want to build them all at once or at least have a commitment with money up front. At least they are willing to work with us. I am sure they know why some of us want just drag pipes since they are bikers they know about exhaust and racing. They are making good money this time of the year but I am on it. I have only really had maybe 6 people that are really interested but we would have to pay up front for 25 of these systems. I think If I show them that I'll do 15 then 15 more real soon they could be a great source for us all. If it were summertime they would not be as demanding of us. Good reply I will show this to them if you guys don't mind. Is it o.k. to show these? Admin chime in on this. These are all private can I show these to other people??
Randy I will get back to you guys in a couple of days at most. Also there are fines and things of that sort that they are bringing up also as they don't want to be fined or closed down. We will get them done ASAP. Thanks Randy good to hear from you! Take care of your self and stay healthy!!!

Victor - how soon will you have a Jaguar Supercharger available? I will be looking for one in another month or so. I've been searching ebay and the one I'm looking for is few and far between. If you've got that will work for my application, then it makes my search real easy :)
Thanks

Hi Damian,
I guess I will run out there tomorrow and try to get this thing finalized. I want to make it a point that we also need the 2 1/4 inch. We have already discussed 2 1/2 inch as the size for everyone but that can be addressed tomorrow. I had someone that I thought about, but he did not have the bending equipment. Then I was going to work a with another guy in another state but he wanted fitment cars. Since I have all the years they will be able to custom fit for me including a new 1994 that's coming home soon:rolleyes: :) I am hoping to be able to do from 89-97. What the hell. As long as we're going to put our butts up there we may as well go for the whole ball of wax. Damien ....you know you have a special way with me. So I will go ahead and go Balls to the wall with this. Diane is on board so that makes it easier. I will request a deposit from everyone who wants once we get the pricing and time line. We think that is fair. I will also give you all my best pricing as usual. O.K. I will get going tomorrow but I will wait until late afternoon and bring a few six packs!!! I will be back in touch with all of you ASAP.
Now I am on the hook. There you go Damian! :) ;)

Hi Melon,
I have a few blowers now but I can get more. I have promised a couple of guys the ones I have in stock. Let me get a hold of my guy and see how many more he can get me at a decent price. Some come with the cobalt rotor and some don't I really don't think it make that much difference either way. I prefer the cobalt rotors as they are superior. They also cost more. If this is for Ken to make you one of his blowers no problem at all. I will get you set up on the list. Ken and I are O.K. I have been down with the flu and busted ribs. It can make you cranky. I will talk with Ken later today and get our things back in order. We are good friends and it will stay that way for as long as I am breathing. Hope that's a long time.:)
Thanks Melon tell Ken I will call him in a few minutes.
Thanks Melon Take it easy.
Regards,

Victor I dont think there is much difference between 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 inch drag pipes to make a difference. I am looking for the basis to an off road system . My exhaust guy says he cant do the flanges to bolt to the manifolds. I need to loosen up the exhaust so I can run my 10% pulley and some other mods I am working on. If you can set it up let me know what kinda money they can be made for and I will comit. I believe any liability as far as racing parts can be covered with the disclaimer { OFF ROAD USE ONLY}. Let me Know I have the need for speed. I havent run Gainsville since 2002. Garry

Yep - that's where it will be headed if the funds allow it. When I get to that point, I'll let ya know. As long as the blower is in good condition is what matters to me. Cobalt rotors or no, makes no difference - atleast at this point :D
Get better too. It's not fun being sick or broken.
