Selling my 5-speed set up out of my Bird. Rebuilt M5R2 with B&M short shifter, SPEC Stage 2 pressure plate and disc very low miles, pedals, hydraulics, everything you need to convert to a 5-speed even the 5-speed ecu.
Let me know by 2/26/07 or it goes on ebay.
Would like to get $500.00 for all of it.
Also, I can do the conversion at my shop for another $400.00

You would need a center console for the newer interior (expensive). I think the later models need to swap computers too. People have done it though. Check out www.tccoa.com since there's more N/A cars there.
