Before I spend the $175 bucks to ship my core back to the builder to get my $250 core charge back, I was wondering if anyone local here is interested in a running long block. I am not too sure of the history of the motor which is why I am putting in a reman. unit. The odometer in the car has 123k on the clock, and it is in my 1990 Annie 5 speed. I have ordered the new motor and sent out a flywheel and damper to have the new one balanced. Should be a few weeks before I get the new one. If anyone is interested, come on by and take a look at it. It is still in the car and running so you can see/hear it. As far as I can tell head gaskets are fine. No bubbling in the rad. tank, and no steam out the exhaust except for when it is cold like every other car. Idles nice.. This is just for the block/heads (everything else I need to swap over to the reman unit). Just looking to get my core back from it. The car had sat in CA since 2004, and was run about once a month or so until I got it. Ran rough when I got it, but some fresh gas and an oil change cleared that problem up.
