After blowing headgaskets in early March, my SC was reborn at 6:40pm EST tonight! Started her up, she idles great, doesn't overheat, and has good oil pressure.
I only spent about $6000 on her revitalization.....that's all!!!, and I did all the work except rebuild the long block. (and SC rebuild) She now has:
190lph FP
42lb/hr inj
Aeromotive AFPR
conical K&N
76mm C&L MAF
Magnum Powers intake
85mm TB
MagnumPowers Inlet Plenum
Magnaport II Blower w/rebuild
Raised Top
Ported heads
Cam regrind (204 int 208 exh duration, .519 lift)
Roller rockers
Ported stock exhaust manifolds
U-joints
Centerforce II Clutch kit
and an engine rebuild.
Tranny looked like new inside so that didn't need anything.
and that is only the new stuff. I already had:
Jacobs Plug wires
Underdrive pullies
10% OD SC pulley
Full MN12 Perf exhaust
IC fan
Cold air inducation
B&M ripper shifter
and some other stuff.
Now I have to break in the clutch before I can get nasty with it!
