where can u find an 8 inch fan???? any cars at the wreckers that use one?

8" i do beleive. spinning wheels-sc uses an 8" fan on their doubled up stockers

i used the 8" too. i think it pulls 800 cfm. which is alot when u only have the stock IC.

You can buy them from Victor at spinningwheels.com or from Bill at supercoupeperformance.com.I think they are around 50 bucks.

I got one for 10 bux at a u-pull-it. It came of a dodge raider SUV and it's 10" It over hangs 1/2" on each side so I made some plastic fins and epoxied them to the gaps and it works great. I also hooked up a relay and switch and tied it to my ignition maybe $4. They're nothing fancy. I don't know why they're 50-60 from vendors. Bring a 12 volt drill battery to the junkyard and test them out. check out the imports too. I know the mazda proteges had a 10" fan as well. Good Luck

I got a radiator fan off some motorcycle. I don't know what it is, or where it came from....it was given to me by a freind. All i know is that it's from a bike.

does putting a fan on a stock ic with a stock motor help performace i know it wil l help temps.
